Application:
Barbituric acid used as an organic synthesis raw material, medicine, plastic and dye intermediate. It is an intermediate for drugs such as barbiturate and vitamin B12. It can also be used as a polymerization catalyst and to prepare benzimidazolone organic pigments. It can also be used as a reagent for the colorimetric determination of aldehydes and polypentose.
