Properties:
Lithium difluorophosphate is an important inorganic compound that appears as a white powder at room temperature. Chemically sensitive to moisture, it must be stored in an inert atmosphere to prevent decomposition. It exhibits high thermal stability, with a decomposition temperature exceeding 300°C, which lays the foundation for its application in the high-temperature environment of lithium batteries.
Application:
As a key additive in lithium-ion battery electrolytes, lithium difluorophosphate’s core function is to comprehensively optimize battery performance by constructing a stable and low-resistance interface film (SEI film) on the surfaces of the positive and negative electrodes. Specifically, it not only effectively inhibits the oxidative decomposition of the electrolyte on the electrode surface but also protects the integrity of the electrode structure, thereby significantly improving the battery’s cycle stability, high-temperature storage performance, and high and low temperature charge-discharge performance. Currently, this product has achieved large-scale application and is of great significance for improving the overall performance of power lithium batteries.
