Properties: 

Yellow to orange powder, melting point 338℃ (230℃). Soluble in hot water, ammonia and other alkaline solutions, insoluble in alcohol and ether. This product may have several isomeric forms.

Application: 

It is used as an organic synthesis intermediate and in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of sulfonamides, synthetic vitamin B4, and synthetic anti-tumor drugs and auxiliary drugs.
