BTA (Benzotriazole) is a white to light yellowish crystalline powder, serving as a highly effective corrosion inhibitor and stabilizer. It is sparingly soluble in water but readily soluble in alcohols, ketones, and other polar organic solvents. BTA remains stable under normal storage conditions but may degrade when exposed to strong oxidizing agents or ultraviolet light.

Application:
BTA is widely used as a versatile additive in metal surface treatment, antifreeze, cooling fluids, and coating systems. It acts as a corrosion inhibitor for copper, brass, and other non-ferrous metals, and serves as a UV stabilizer in plastics and polymers.
