It exhibits moderate flammability and decomposes at elevated temperatures.

Application:  

N‑Ethylmorpholine is widely used as both a catalyst and a solvent in organic synthesis. It is primarily employed as a catalyst in the production of polyurethane foams, where it enhances the foam formation and stability. Additionally, it serves as an intermediate for the synthesis of dyes, pharmaceuticals, surfactants, emulsifiers, and coatings.
