Properties and Applications

S-20

1. Soluble in oil and organic solvents, disperses in water to form a milky liquid.
2. Used as a W/O emulsifier, stabilizer, plasticizer, lubricant, and drying agent in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics; as a softening agent, antistatic agent, and finishing agent in the textile industry; also used as a mechanical lubricant. As an anti-fog agent additive, it has good initial and low-temperature anti-fogging properties.

S-40

1. Soluble in oil and organic solvents, disperses in hot water.
2. Used as an emulsifier and dispersant in the food and cosmetics industries; as an emulsifying stabilizer in emulsion polymerization; as a dispersant in printing inks; can also be used as a textile waterproofing coating additive and oil emulsifying dispersant; widely used as an anti-fogging agent for polymers, PVC agricultural film.

S-60

1. Insoluble in water, disperses in hot water, is an excellent W/O emulsifier with strong emulsifying, dispersing, and lubricating properties, also a good stabilizer and defoamer.
2. Used as an emulsifier in the food industry, for the production of beverages, milk candy, ice cream, bread, pastries, malted milk, margarine, chocolate, etc.; as an antistatic agent and softening oil component in the textile industry; as an emulsifier and stabilizer in food, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, coatings, and plastics industries; as an anti-fogging agent for films.

S-80

1. Insoluble in water, soluble in hot oil and organic solvents, a high-grade lipophilic emulsifier.
2. Used in W/O emulsions, nylon and viscose tire cord oils, providing excellent smoothing effects on fibers; as an emulsifier in machinery, coatings, chemicals; as an emulsifier in heavy mud drilling fluids; as an emulsifier in food and cosmetics production; as a dispersant in paint and coatings industry; as a stabilizer in titanium dioxide production; as an insecticide, wetting agent, and emulsifier in pesticides production; as a co-solvent in petroleum products; also as a rust inhibitor in anti-rust oil; used as a lubricant and softener in textiles and leather.
3. As an anti-fogging agent for films, it has good initial and low-temperature anti-fogging properties.

S-85

1. Slightly soluble in isopropanol, tetrachloroethylene, and cottonseed oil.
2. Primarily used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, textiles, paint, and petroleum industries as an emulsifier, thickener, rust inhibitor, etc.

Packaging and Storage

• S-20, S-80, and S-85 are packaged in 50Kg plastic drums; S-40 and S-60 are packaged in 20Kg woven bags.
• Store and transport as general chemicals. Store in a dry, ventilated place.
• Shelf life of two years.
