Performance and Applications
- This series of products is soluble in general organic solvents and forms a colloid in water.
- They are used as antistatic agents, emulsifiers, rewetting agents, and lubricants. They can be used in insecticides and herbicides, oil additives, and textile lubricants. They also serve as emulsifiers in water-based inks and cosmetics.
- Bis(β-hydroxyethyl) cocoamine is used as an internal antistatic agent for polypropylene and ABS. It also functions as an antistatic agent and preservative in steam generation and circulation systems.
- Bis(β-hydroxyethyl) stearylamine is an antistatic agent for plastics, used as an internal antistatic agent for polystyrene and polystyrene-acrylonitrile, featuring excellent compatibility, heat resistance, stability, and significant non-toxic properties. It is primarily used in packaging films, daily plastic containers, mining plastic pipes, and polypropylene fibers. For example, adding 0.25 parts of this product (containing 55% auxiliary materials) to 100 parts of high-pressure polyethylene produces mining pipes with a surface resistance stabilized at 10^8Ω, meeting technical requirements for mining pipes. Adding 0.3-0.5% of this product (containing 55% auxiliary materials) to polypropylene resin makes washing machine inner tubs that are less prone to contamination and easier to clean. It is also used as an emulsifier with preservative properties for oils.
- Bis(β-hydroxyethyl) tallowamine is used as an internal antistatic agent for polyethylene. The usage amount is 0.5-2%.
Packaging and Storage 200 kg iron drum or 50 kg plastic drum packaging. Store and transport as general chemicals. Store in a dry and ventilated place. Shelf life is two years.
