Properties:
Industrial products are colorless to light yellow transparent liquids. They are easily soluble in water, methanol and ethanol. Hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid is a chemical raw material, commonly used in industrial water treatment, household cleaning products and personal care products.
Application:
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (HEDP) is a scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor for boilers and heat exchangers, a complexing agent for cyanide-free electroplating, a chelating agent for soap, and a cleaning agent for metals and non-metals. As a water treatment agent, it has a stable structure and is not easily hydrolyzed. HEDP has a good corrosion inhibition effect and has a significant effect on iron ions. When the iron ion concentration is greater than 3 mg/L, its corrosion inhibition effect decreases with the increase of iron ion concentration. When used in combination with other corrosion inhibitors and scale inhibitors, HEDP has a synergistic effect and can improve the efficacy. The dosage is low. In the composite formula, a dosage of 2 to 5 mg/L is usually used.
